As a Webmaster, I built websites
for many clients over the years but
deliberately ignored the world of
Internet/Affiliate Marketing as I
usually didn’t trust anything that
sounded like making a quick buck.

This was until November 2008
when I got round to going over an
old email I had received several months
earlier from Brad Callen (whom I later
discovered to be a renowned Search
Engine expert and Internet Marketer).

The contents of the email set in motion
a chain of events that eased out my
misconceptions and led to my real understanding of this online opportunity
I had not dared to believe existed.

Thus began my journey as a student of internet marketing and
web traffic generation and which led to the launching of this
website back in May 2009 (barely 6 months after I read the first
email from Brad).

Through this blog and its parent site, I decided to personally
hand over much of what I had learnt and continue to learn to
fellow newbies. I still very much consider myself a newbie
(used to hate the term but have now kind of grown to like it and
now happy to be called one).

I took a look at the Gurus out there; their never ending product
launches that constantly bombard our mailboxes and distract the
average newbie from staying focused and came to one conclusion
… it’s time for a Newbies’ revenge ; meaning keep your credit
card close to your pocket and don’t buy a thing until you’ve read
what this Internet Marketing Newbie has to say.

Thus I have created a hub of FREE quality information (both on
this blog and the main site) covering most areas of internet
marketing that any newbie can constantly refer to in order to get
a completely new internet business off the ground and without
having to pull out a credit card each time a new ‘breakthrough’
product comes out.

That’s Newbies’ Revenge – a hub of the newbie, by a newbie
and for the newbie.

In conclusion, I will say that everything an aspiring Internet
Marketer needs to achieve success is embodied in two terms;
‘Focus’ and ‘Hard Work’.

This is because Internet Marketing is about the only industry
that guarantees you success at the end of the day (especially
under this highly volatile and uncertain economic environment,
the world over) as long as you are ready to work for it and are
able to focus on one task or project at a time.

The hard work only comes in the beginning to help you acquire
the knowledge. Once you get through that learning curve
(made easier by our helpful site and blog), you will soon find
yourself setting up new internet ventures each month that can
together help you sustain a comfortable online income.

Trust me, you can truly earn a living on the Internet working from home.
That’s why I’ve branded this project simply as… 4Real.biz

I should also mention that I practice a non-related profession offline.
The ability to leverage the efforts of others through outsourcing and deploy
automated internet marketing tools, makes it possible for me to find time for
both areas.

In fact, multi-skilling across related or unrelated areas is about the only
solution that guarantees your economic survival today (of course with the
grace of God).

Internet Marketing is one of the very few disciplines that can help you
achieve this. Anyone can get involved full or part time, regardless of what
your day job is and never mind what regular profession you belong to.
