As a Webmaster, I built websites
for many clients over the years but
deliberately ignored the world of
Internet/Affiliate Marketing as I
usually didn’t trust anything that
sounded like making a quick buck.
This was until November 2008
when I had a chance encounter with
Brad Callen’s 7 Days to Adwords
Domination and which led me to
Matt Callen’s HyperVRE . Together
these combined to lift the veil as I
suddenly became aware of a remarkable world I had never believed existed.
By January 2009, the thirst for more knowlege led me to the PlugInProfitSite by Stone Evans (probably the best
“Internet Business-In-A-Box” program out there).
My account would however not be complete without a mention of
Maverick Money Makers, the best online coaching club and the
final stop in my journey to trully understand how to make money
online working from home (notwithstanding that knowledge is
limitless).
For me, these were the defining landmarks (main process map)
in an online journey that culminated in the launching of this
website back in May 2009 (barely 6 months after I read the first
email from Brad).
The last 11 months since I started has felt like I have been to
college for 2 years – going to bed at 3am, 4am and many times at
5am only to get up a few hours later to hurry the kids to school.
I am now personally handing over much of what I have learnt and
continue to learn to my fellow newbies. I still very much consider
myself a newbie (used to hate the term but have kind of grown to
like it and now happy to be called one).
I took a look at the Gurus out there; their never ending product
launches that constantly bombard our mailboxes and distract the
average newbie from staying focussed and came to one conclusion
… it’s time for a Newbies’ revenge ; meaning keep your credit
card close to your pocket and don’t buy a thing until you’ve read
what this Internet Marketing Newbie has to say.
Thus I have created a hub of FREE quality information (both on
this blog and the main site) covering most areas of internet
marketing that any newbie can constantly refer to in order to get
a completely new internet business off the ground and without
having to pull out a credit card each time a new ‘breakthrough’
product comes out.
That’s Newbies’ Revenge – a hub of the newbie, by a newbie
and for the newbie.
In conclusion, I will say that everything an aspiring Internet
Marketer needs to achieve success is embodied in two terms;
‘Focus’ and ‘Hard Work’.
This is because Internet Marketing is about the only industry
that guarantees you success at the end of the day (especially
during this recession) as long as you are ready to work for it
and are able to focus on one task or project at a time.
The hard work only comes in the beginning to help you acquire
the knowledge. Once you get through that learning curve
(made easier by our helpful site and blog), you will soon find
yourself setting up new internet ventures each month that will
continue to bring in auto-pilot profits even as you live the life
of your dreams across the beaches of the world (or whatever
catches your fancy).
Trust me, it trully is 4Real; there is good money to be made on
the Internet working from home!
