The ability to bring people together to congregate in one place irrespective

background and national borders is trully one of the most irresistible
accomplishments of the world wide web.
For almost any topic one can imagine, there are forums online that provide
such
meeting place for people with a shared interest to gather and rub minds
on those
topics that interest them.
In the Internet/Online
Marketing world that we are concerned with, serious
players use forums to keep themselves up to date through interaction with
other
members and also to gain notoriety
for themselves and get
more traffic to website they own.
While forums are a great source of valuable information to its users,
those same
users are the very providers of the information. So even though you benefit
from
free information provided by other members an even greater benefit awaits
you
when join the rank of those who not only receive free information but
also provide
free information to others.
This conscious effort to graduate from receiver to giver will increase
your
notoriety
and regularly drive traffic back to your site. In case you are wondering
how a complete newbie can overnight become a giver of free information,
you will
soon see how easy it is; anyone can do it (I was a complete newbie not

First, the basics.
Find 7 or 10 good Forums within the niche you are targetting however
make sure
your list includes both Yahoo Answers
and Warrior Forum (trust me with these
two tips).
Now let us assume "Safari holidays" is your target niche.
Now when you create your profile in these forums you will be allowed
to include
a signature that will appear at the end of each post you make in the form.
Your
signature can be your name or any alias you want to be known by. You are
allowed to use this to link back to your website and so your signature
creates a
backlink to your site each time you make a post.
This is the right way to use links in forums; inside your signature file
at the end of
your post rather than by directly advertising your site or affiliate product
within the
body of your post (which is regarded as forum spamming).
To build your backlinks across 10 Forums (assuming you chose 10), you
simply
ask 2 questions and answer 2 questions in each Forum. This instantly creates
42
backlinks to your site (2 + 2 x 10).
If, on the other hand, you chose 7 Forums, you will acquire 42 backlinks
by
asking 3 questions and answering 3 questions in each of the forums (3
+ 3 x 7).
You should however spread your 40 or 42 link acquisition over a period
as the
search engines like to see a gradual build up of links (more natural)
rather than
a sudden accumulation (which can suggest spamming).
In
view of this and the time it can take to work through all the Forums,
you may consider it reasonable to establish a cycle of accumulating your
40 or 42 links every 10 or 14 days (or longer period). When we do the
